Zhyva Rosteko is a liquid organo-mineral anti-stress fertilizer based on natural bischofite brine from the Poltava deposit (Ukraine), potassium humate and a plant-derived organic extract. It supports photosynthesis and crop resilience through heat and drought — and is applied in a tank mix, with no separate machinery pass.
Zhyva Rosteko combines three natural components. Bischofite brine from the Poltava deposit supplies the plant with available magnesium — the central atom of chlorophyll — and a broad complex of trace elements in natural proportions. Potassium humate provides humic and fulvic acids that support the crop through heat and water stress and improve nutrient uptake. A plant-derived organic extract adds readily available organic matter. Together they form a ready-to-use foliar feed that works in the critical growth stages — exactly when heat threatens the yield most.
Magnesium keeps the photosynthetic apparatus working, while humic and fulvic acids help the plant get through peak temperatures and recover faster.
Compatible with most pesticides and herbicides: added to the scheduled tank mix. Zero additional application costs — no extra fuel, no extra machine hours.
Natural mineral brine, potassium humate and a plant-derived organic component. Hazard class IV (low-hazard substances), neutral pH 7.0–8.0 — gentle on the leaf.
The foundation of Zhyva Rosteko was created by Serhii Hnidenko — a PhD-level scientist, inventor and author of the formula. Starting in 1998, he experimented with natural mineral and plant components on his own land and observed the same result year after year: a stronger root system, better crop resilience to stress, and higher yields than on untreated plots.
More than 25 years of observation and experiments — from a family garden to commercial fields.
The recipe was created by a PhD-level researcher — a scientific approach combined with decades of hands-on farming.
Today the technology is developed by LLC ZHYVA, led by founder Oleksandr Hnidenko. A Ukrainian technology for Ukrainian land.
Parameters of the ready-to-use solution under the technical specification. Every batch is accompanied by a certificate of analysis.
| Parameter | Value | Role |
|---|---|---|
| Magnesium (Mg²⁺), soluble | 3.7–4.4 g/L | photosynthesis, anti-stress |
| Potassium (K₂O) | 3.6–4.3 g/L | water balance |
| Total nitrogen (N) | 0.40–0.50 % | nutrition |
| Organic matter | 3.6–4.3 % | biostimulation |
| Total humic substances | 2.8–3.2 % | stress resilience |
| — humic acids | 2.2–2.6 % | nutrient uptake |
| — fulvic acids | 0.5–0.7 % | transport into the leaf |
| Boron (B) | 3.0–4.0 mg/L | flowering, pollination |
| Chlorides (Cl⁻) | 2.8–3.4 g/L | cell osmotics |
| Solution pH | 7.0–8.0 | gentle on the leaf |
Thanks to the bischofite base, the product additionally contains a natural complex of trace elements (Fe, Zn, Mn, Cu, sulfur, bromine) at trace concentrations — as a natural background of the mineral base rather than a declared nutrient dose.
Bischofite supplies magnesium and trace elements, potassium humate provides humic and fulvic acids, and the plant-derived organic component contributes organic matter. The formula is standardized under the technical specification, and each batch is confirmed by laboratory analysis.
Demonstration trials of 2024–2026 on commercial crops. The yield gain came together with higher grain quality — protein and gluten — which rules out a simple dilution effect.
Drabynivka village, Poltava district. Untreated control — 4.5 t/ha. Gain +2.8 t/ha (+62%), protein 13.8% vs 10.8% in the control. Technology: seed treatment at 180 ml/ha + foliar application at 400 ml/ha in a tank mix.
Variety "Katrusia Odeska" (strong-class wheat). Control — 4.4 t/ha. Gain +1.1 t/ha (+25%), protein 11.7% vs 10.6%, gluten 17.8% vs 15.6%. Technology: two foliar applications at 400 ml/ha in a tank mix.
Kharkiv region, ES Agora hybrid. Gain of +400 kg/ha from a single foliar application at 0.4 L/ha in a tank mix. Every hryvnia invested returned 47 in extra yield.
Kharkiv region, DKC 3972 hybrid. Gain of +400 kg/ha from a single foliar application at 0.4 L/ha in a tank mix.
Poltava region, Syngenta Arizona hybrid. Gain of +500 kg/ha; scheme: 1.5 L/ha soil application + 0.4 L/ha foliar.
Poltava region, DKC 3969 hybrid. Gain of +650 kg/ha (adjusted to 14% moisture); scheme: 1.5 L/ha ×2 foliar.

The results above come from single-replicate demonstration trials on commercial fields without statistical replication. Payback ratios are calculated from farm-signed trial protocols. Actual gains depend on soil fertility, variety or hybrid, seasonal weather and adherence to the application technology.
All field applications are performed within scheduled treatments — no separate sprayer pass is needed.
| Operation | Rate | Note |
|---|---|---|
| Seed treatment | 180 ml/ha | once, in the seed-dressing solution |
| Soil application | 1.5 L/ha | once, together with a soil herbicide |
| Foliar application | 400 ml/ha | twice per season, in a tank mix with crop protection |
| Ornamental and indoor plants | 20–30 ml / 10 L water | spraying or watering, every 2–4 weeks |
Dilute the working solution with water of pH no higher than 8.5. A standard compatibility test is recommended before preparing large tank-mix volumes. The full schedule is set out in TU U 20.1-45650178-001:2026.
